Here are Isabel's "Five Rules For Life":

1.) Love the little things.
Having the next car, the next house, the next thing or even more and more money is something, but never forget the things that life gives you for free. The things you can't lose, that the bailiffs can't take. Appreciate sunrises and sunsets, value the time you have with those you love. Delight in the things you can do, the things that you are, that you have regardless of your circumstances.

2.) Listen to yourself first.
The outside world is filled with messages, advice, instructions, orders, and rules. Only you know what's really right for you.

3.) Learn to listen to your intuition.
It's not "woo"; many of the greatest and most successful people in the world trust that still small voice inside them before they rush into using logic to make decisions. If something feels right, go for it. If it doesn't, don't.

4.) Live in the moment.
You can't change your past, and what was done to you, or what you've done to others. The only one suffering over the past is yourself. Let it go, let yourself be you as you are now, and keep on growing into the future.

5.) You can't choose who you are, but you can choose how to be who you are.
Taken from one of my books. You're given gifts, talents, and abilities. You may also pick up some sludge along the way. This is all part of life. You may feel afraid of who you are, you might not like how you look. Learn to love the person you are in this life and celebrate it. There is only one person you can be, so you might as well be that person to the best of your ability.

Isabel currently resides in the United Kingdom.
